Mehrejan
Mehrejan is currently a part of Khoor &Biabanak, Naein region and Isfahan province. Its distance to the local center of the region is 35km, to Naein 220Km, to the center of the province ( Isfahan ) 450km and 750km to Tehran . The village of Mehrejan is located in the deepest and most shallow part of the region. It has a rather even and flat surface that reaches the mountainous region of Gholeh and reed-brake on the north, mountain of Baiazeh , Mohammad-Abad and Dolat-Abad farms on the south, Loot desert on its eastern side and Neishaboor, Garmeh, Aroosan, Ordib, Iraaj and Khenj on its western side.
Mehrejan has a hot and torrid climate with scorching summers and freezing winters. The flat surface of the village is arid and dry, covered with salt layers and almost no rain fall during fall and winter.
Mehrejan has a string of underground aqueducts with the length of about 15 Kilometers and depth of about 120 meters on its deepest part, namely Cheshmeh (spring-source). The slope of the ducts causes the water to reach the villages such as Tofigh-Abad, Kalateh, Shams-Abad, Soltanieh, Abdol-Abad etc, each one with its own special set of ducts.
